The city of Hannover is easily reachable in the center of Germany. Close to Hannover, the east-west highway (A2 from Berlin to Dortmund) and the north-south highway (A7 from the Danish to the Austrian border) meet as well as the most important railroad tracks. Together with the airport Hannover-Langenhagen, we believe to have all the important ways of transportation right around our chosen event location.

Public transportation in Hannover is splendidly developed. The airport, main station as well as tour locations and event location are easily reached via subway and/or suburban train. It goes without question that sufficient parking space is also available.

All tour locations offered in our excursion program, the event location and the event hotel are easily reached by subway and/or suburban train..

With the sole exception of the airport, all these places are within the fare zone “Ticketzone Hannover“, thus, you will only need a single ticket for that zone. At the moment (12.11.2009, price list GVH), a single trip ticket amounts to 2.10 Euro/person, a day ticket is 4.10 Euro. From the airport, which is in the fare zone “Ticketzone Umland”, you would need a two-zone ticket, which is at present available for 2.80 Euro/person for a single trip or 5.30 Euro/person as a day ticket, respectively (12.11.2009, price list GVH).

The event itself takes place in the vicinity of the company Panta Rhei in the north of Hannover (close to the highway A2). The building has been refurbished only recently and is supposed to open in the Summer 2009.

The company Panta Rhei offers besides generous lecture halls, good food and a classy atmosphere,  a number of big show tanks.

We believe, that with these premises, we found the most appropriate location for the First International L-Number Days, which will provide this event with the most worthy surroundings.
