
Johannes Leuenberger was born in 1946 and lives in Kaiseraugst in Switzerland.
He is married and has two children. He is a biologist specialized in bio technology.
Since his childhood he is aquarist and began like many others with keeping guppies and platies. Later he kept and bred labyrinth fishes until he spezialized in loricariids.
In Switzerland he is well known as breeder of rare loricariid species and is a member of the IGL and the IG BSSW.
